We enjoyed the food at Crustacean in Beverly Hills. A bit expensive but good. What we did not like is the service or attitude of the waitstaff. Totally arrogant, uninterested and into themselves and not the experience of guests. As we left the restaurant there were three people at the hostess stand and not one said thank you. They talked amongst themselves and looked away. After paying this kind of tab I thought that was just terrible but hey we are in Beverly Hills and may not fit in with this crowd. Back to the food. The Family Tree appetizer was pretty cool. You choose the appetizers and it is served on a tree with branches holding the plates. The Lobster, Crab and Dory entrees were delicious. I had the Dory and loved the Truffle Cream Sauce. Very light fish with a delicate flavor. The Truffles made it pop. My Wife enjoyed the Crab which they deconstructed in the kitchen so she had a shell of all crab meat. My Daughter said the Lobster was "yummy". Was pretty cool to have ice cream made at our table. The waiter poured cream and other ingredients into a cylinder with dry ice. In minutes we had Vanilla Ice Cream served over Chocolate Cake.
