We enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. Service was excellent with the entire staff being attentive, positive and helpful. They helped make lunch and dinner reservations for us and provided transportation for short trips around the hotel. The hotel is walking distance to Rodeo Drive and just minutes from a large mall. Beverly Hills is a lot different from Hawaii so we enjoyed the people watching coming in and out of the hotel. I saw more nice cars in a day then I see in Hawaii in years. Designer clothes, handbags and more plastic surgery than I have ever seen in my life. While this kind of living is loved by many, our Ohana was blessed to be living in Hawaii and going back to shorts, t-shirts and slippers. Nice place to visit but I would not want to live here and be caught up with all the material things and privileged attitude. So happy when my Daughter said "I would rather be home surfing with my friends".
While LA is not for us, we do appreciate the Peninsula Hotel and staff for making us feel
welcome and somewhat normal.
