Made another visit to Jose's while we had a guest in town.  There is not much good Mexican food in Hawaii but Jose's seems to be consistently my favorite.  While I think the prices are high, I also understand food costs and the price of doing business in Hawaii.  Prices aside, I think that Jose's delivers on flavor and service.  We had an excellent server named Diana who was very friendly and open to making changes to the menu.  Our guest wanted a burrito consisting of chicken, rice and beans only.  Diana said "no problem" and then went on to explain the different sauces he could order with the burrito.  His burrito was $11.95.  He liked it and suggested to Diana that they put it on the menu.  I ordered my standard three Shredded Beef Tacos ($11.95).  To me these are the best beef tacos in Hawaii.  Have not found anything that can beat them yet.  My wife ordered the single Taco with Rice and Beans ($11.95).  Now this is a bit much for a taco with rice and beans, but everyone liked the beans and rice and the taco was excellent.  The Kids Bean Burrito with Chips and Cheese ($5.95) was eaten in minutes with no complaints.
