The Fairmont Grand Del Mar continues to be one of my favorite destinations and hotels.
This visit was again excellent and I cannot wait to return. While there is a distinct difference in the hotel during COVID with the main lobby bar being closed and no entertainment in the lobby on weekends, the place still has that sanctuary feeling that takes you to another place and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
