Another GREAT dinner at Margotto.  Definitely my favorite restaurant in Hawaii for the past three years.  When you can enjoy Caviar, Foie Gras, Truffles, Pasta and Wine, it really doesn't get better than this.  Pastas here are World Class and the Risotto with Foie Gras and Truffles will make your tummy smile as will the Mashed Potatoes with Foie Gras and Truffles.  The A5 Japanese Wagyu melts in your mouth like butter and is full of flavor.  I ordered the non-menu Wagyu Burger for my Sisters Grandson because he has a huge appetite and wanted him to get filled up.  He said it was best Burger ever.  Love the food, service and entire staff at Margotto!

This is definitely one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Hawaii.  Everything on the menu is good and when you eat family style with lots of people it could be the best in Hawaii.  We always start with Chef Colin's Specials and then add dishes from there.  While it is difficult to save room for dessert, I always seem to have room because they are so good.  The Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch and Chocolate Brownie are my faves.  The Bread Pudding is also 
one of the best in Hawaii.

Always nice to return from a trip to the Mainland and enjoy some super fresh Hawaii fish.  This Swordfish was delicious with a nice Mango Salsa.

Readers of my blog know that I am a die hard Hawaiian Airlines customer primarily for their routes and mileage program.  Not always a fan of the service or food.  On this flight the food was actually decent.

Enjoyed my time at The Club at Las in Las Vegas.  This is a nice clean lounge with lots of comfortable seating, buffet, bar, showers and even table service.  I ordered Granola and Yogurt and it was brought to my seat through their app.

The best and most expensive meal of my life has been realized at Joël Robuchon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.  We went for the Grand Cru Wine Pairing which put this dinner way over the top.  Food, service and entire staff were amazing.  Totally not stuck up like you might expect at ultra fine dining restaurants.  Everyone was so nice, engaging and at times funny.  We felt at home in the environment and loved every minute of this evening.  From the giant tower of Butter and over the top bread service to dessert, every dish shined.  My favorites were the Caviar, Black Cod, Langoustine and A5 Wagyu.  The Black Cod was better than Nobu and a dish I would come back for time and time again.  The Langoustine Ravioli was life changing.  Probably one of the best bites of my life.  The A5 Wagyu was a burst of some of the best flavor in my life.  Wow....
