Not very common that we hit the same restaurant twice in two weeks, but while dining at another restaurant my Wife started craving the Margotto Cacio Pepe. She actually made the reservation while dining at a very expensive restaurant. Arrived at Margotto and was greeted by Andrew and Lee who are amazing hosts. I started with a nice crisp chardonnay which paired well with the Carpaccio. Next came one of my fave dishes ever, the Foie Gras Cheese Risotto which we had buried in shaved Truffles. So good that we literally lick the bowl clean. The Cacio Pepe came and we had that covered in Truffles. My Wife was in heaven and said I could only have two bites of the Cacio Pepe because she wanted it all to herself. She actually let me eat more. We tried the Burrata Pomodoro and Basil and it was good. The Burrata was a bit flavorless though. The Fresh Fish was delicious but boy I wanted more of their great pastas. After four visits here we have declared Margotto as one of our favorite restaurants in Hawaii and cannot wait to return.
