Right now, Margotto Hawaii is my favorite restaurant on Oahu.  Cannot get these delicious Pastas out of my mind.  When you come here, you cannot eat just one.  You really need to try them all.  We eat family style so everyone can enjoy a few bites of many dishes.  I like to start dinner here with a little champagne and then move to a nice Red Wine when the pastas are served.  Love beginning the meal with the Caviar Monaka Luxe.  I don't eat the top shell anymore because I want more of the Caviar flavor over the Rice Wafer.  Moving on, the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Tartare is the perfect dish to enjoy.  The egg yolk takes this dish over the top.  I avoid Truffles on this just because I want the full flavor of the A5 Wagyu to shine.
Next up must always be the Foie Gras Cheese Risotto.  It is so good that I damn near licked the bowl.  This dish is elevated to incredible with the addition of Truffles which are shaved table side.  Now for the Pastas.  My Wife loves the Cacio Pepe and always orders it with Truffles.  This pasta is perfect and delicious.  I have come to love the Bolognese which is packed with flavor.  The Arrabbiata with a touch of heat is also a fave.  My Wife won't let me order the Carbonara which is one of my favorite pastas because they add cream to the sauce which in her mind is an absolute no no.  I agree but remember it is still pretty good.  The Australian Duck with Foie Gras is always a winner.  Some of the best Duck we have ever eaten.  Never tough or gamey.  Service amazing with Lee always suggesting some great Champagnes and Wines.
