After completing a very rewarding Susan G. Gomen Walk for the Cure we decided to have a rare family breakfast out at a restaurant. Koa Pancake House was close so we gave it a try. The line was out to almost the door when we arrived. My first instinct was to turn around and go home, but my Wife said to be "patient" and wait. The line moved quite quickly and we made it to the counter to place our order. We were given a number to place on our table so we grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down. Two of the breakfast came out but the third did not. Waited a few minutes and then walked back up to the counter and told the guy that one of our dishes never made it to the table. He grabbed my receipt and gave it to the kitchen. I had my food in a few minutes. The Koa Benedict ($8.95) with Fried Rice ($2.25 extra) was actually delicious. The Benedict included both Canadian Bacon and Turkey with a nice slice of Tomato. The Hollandaise Sauce was really good. The Fried Rice was average. My Daughter loved the Chocolate Banana Pancakes. She went silent and devoured a large portion on the plate. The Mushroom and Spinach Omelette was o.k. according to my lovely bride.
I am not a big breakfast eater but would return here again.
