UNIVERSITY OF OREGON FOOTBALL GAME

UNIVERSITY OF OREGON FOOTBALL GAME
EUGENE, OREGON

Was really nice to visit Eugene, Oregon and attend a University of Oregon football game vs Stanford.
While the Duck's lost, this was a great experience that I will never forget.  Oregon is so much different than Hawaii in so many ways and it was nice to see another world and the field where Marcus Mariota won his Heisman Trophy.  Loved the school spirit here and fact that EVERYONE is a Duck fan.  Every single person wheres something Duck and it really lets you know they love their team.  Wish Hawaii had this spirit.  We started our day with a few cocktails at a local bar on the Main Street leading into the campus.  We had front row seats at the Web Foot and watched all the fans fill the streets and walk towards the campus.  We walked through the campus which is beautiful.  A mix of old tradition and modern.  As you exit campus towards the stadium, there are beautiful trees, river and parks that are simply amazing.  Then there is the stadium with the giant yellow "O".  At that moment you know you are in for Oregon football.  I bought Club Level seats which were a bit expensive because most PAC12 stadiums don't sell beer.  The Club Section sells beer and wine.  Brilliant idea until we found out they sell beer all over the stadium.  I liked the Club Level.  They had food options and several beer/wine stations with little or no lines.  Spent half the game inside drinking and watching the game on television.  Outside we had great seats and the crowd was amazing.  Cheering and standing on most every play.  Real fans that love their Ducks with passion.  Oh how I wish we had this in Hawaii.  Ended up in a local bar and doing some Jello Shots.  Crowd was bummed and left early because the Duck's lost.
