VICTORY VILLA @ 18 - SONY OPEN IN HAWAII

VICTORY VILLA @ 18
WAIALAE COUNTRY CLUB
HONOLULU, HAWAII

Invited to the Victory Villa @ 18 while attending the Sony Open Golf Tournament at Waialae Country Club.  Tickets to this VIP Tent run $185 each for the day so I was glad I did not have to pay. For $185 you get to sit inside an air conditioned tent with no view of the golf course.  There are however several flat screens in the tent so you can watch the golf while enjoying a drink or lunch.  The food here was provided by Hy's Steak House and it was amazing.  High quality ingredients and big bold flavors.  The staff was Tuxedo clad and very courteous and professional.  The $185 fee allows to to go in and out of the tent and eat as much as you want for one day during the golf tournament.  Drinks are extra and about $8 each.  Literally loved every dish served in the Victory Villa.  The Chilled Tomato and Shrimp Soup was refreshing and delicious.  The Mashed Potatoes were infused with Truffle and Butter.  Amazing!  The Prime Rib was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.  Served on its own or on a bun with Horseradish.  Yummy...The Rack of Lamb was one of the best ever.  Cooked with a nice char on the outside and pink in the middle.  Again perfect amount of seasoning.  Hy's really did a great job with the food.  You could finish your meal with Cherries Jubilee served like you were in a five star restaurant.  Tuxedo Clad waiter and flames to boot.  This was a great treat that I really enjoyed.  Just wish the Victory Villa tent faced the golf course and had seating where you could watch some golf.  No complaints hanging out in this tent.  Pampered experience that we all enjoyed at the Sony Open.  Many thanks and a big hug to Brigitte for getting us in this exclusive place.
