While in Dallas we really wanted to visit Cowboys Stadium.  At a cost of 1.2 Billion dollars, this is not only the most expensive but also the largest domed stadium in the world.  I had seen the stadium on t.v. and really wanted to see if it looked as good in person.  Especially wanted to view the television that spans from one 20 yard line to the other 20 yard line.   Did Cowboys Stadium meet my expectations?  Hell yes....this place is AWESOME!!!  It is not a stadium as you would expect.  Rather more like a Five Star Hotel surrounding a football field.  The stadium seats 85,000 with another 15,000 or so spaces for standing room only.  This puts 100,000 plus people in the stadium for major events.  Believe me, there is not a bad seat in the house.  We went all the way to the top seats, sidelines and field level.  The best seats were Owner Jerry Jones private perch on the 50' yard line.  The Jones suite features his own personal elevator that travels to the field level and the parking lot.  We took the VIP Guided Tour that takes about 1.5 hours and cost $27.50.  Worth every penny if you ask me.  Our tour guide mixed Cowboy and stadium facts with humor and really seemed to love his job.
