We retrieved our luggage at the Cape Town airport and rushed back to the Azamara Pursuit to enjoy the New Year's Eve celebration. With the clock ticking and past 10PM we arrived back to the ship and rushed to shower, change clothes and eat before midnight. We got to the pool deck around 11PM and found that the extravagent New Year's Eve Buffet was done. There was no food. We asked if any of the restaurants were open and were told no. Only Room Service is available. We had not eaten all day and were hungry plus its past 11PM and I have no New Year's Eve buzz going. With no food I began to tend to my parched mouth with a wee bit of bubbly. This turned into a little more bubbly followed by more bubbly. Suffice to say I was a bit tired the next morning.
