SOMEWHERE IN AKIHABARA
Akihabara is a MUST visit when visiting Tokyo. The Yodobashi-Akiba mega electronic store will blow your mind. Floor after floor of the latest in electronics, appliances, air conditioners, cookware, knifes, sporting goods and pretty much everything else you can think of. Need a hair dryer, camera, watch or electric razor? They probably have over 100 options of each to choose from. It is truly amazing and a place where you can stroll for hours and hours. Well my gals walked me for hours as they shopped and shopped. My legs and back were sore from standing and I just wanted to get out, sit down and eat some food. We walked a bit and found a little local place where we decided to have lunch not even knowing what was on the menu.
Saw that they were grilling a lot of chicken on the grill. The waiter did not speak English and showed us a lunch menu in Japanese that had three set menus. We ordered all three and the bill was just over $15.00 for all three plates. We were shocked because the food and service was excellent.
