We had not heard of The Oyster Box until we arrived in South Africa. Aboard our ship, everyone was talking about going here. They kept saying the Afternoon Tea Service was famous and sold out through the holidays. Day after day I heard people talking about The Oyster Box. We decided to hire a private driver for a day and one of the spots we visited was The Oyster Box. We arrived during brunch service and actually got a table within minutes. There was a nice buffet with champagne next to the pool and overlooking the ocean. WOW....my kind of gig. Just perfect. This place was just the kind of place I like. Upscale but comfortable. Great service, ambiance, view and champagne. We didn't eat much but enjoyed our time here big time. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel and just hang out in this beautiful hotel for days. The surrounding neighborhood is nice too. Lots of shopping, restaurants and bars within walking distance.
