BEIT SHE'AN - ISRAEL
Located to the south of the Sea of Galilee, Beit She'an is one of the most incredible archeological cities I have ever visited. This place is AWESOME. There is so much here that is intact that you can actually see and visualize how life was thousands of years ago. Once the Capital of the Roman Decapolis it was continually inhabited and one of the main cites during the Roman and Byzantine periods. With a population of 40,000, this was a big city. What is amazing about Beit She'an is that you can see things that have not changed in a thousand years. The columns that fell are in the same place and you can see how they broke and fell to the ground in pieces. So much to see here and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT FOR A VISIT!
