Ristorante Milano is on our "Must Do" list of places to eat in San Francisco.  We have been enjoying the food here for years and the Owner Aldo always takes good care of us.  The menu is fresh, fresh, fresh.  On this visit it was a Friday during lent so we enjoyed our meal with all vegetable and seafood dishes.  Everything was great.  I absolutely LOVE the Calamari alla Griglia.  The Calamari and Cannelini Beans go perfect together.  I actually could eat two or three of these plates myself.  We always get the Sardine Gratinate which are locally caught Sardines that are lightly breaded.  Delicious.  The Crostini ai Funghi is mushroom perfection.  Again the freshness of this dish just pops.  I ordered the Linguini ai Frutti de Mari and it was amazing.  Fresh made Pasta with fresh local seafood and a light marinara sauce.  Pasta perfection.  The Gnocchi here is our favorite and we had two orders on this night for the table.  Cooked perfectly, light and so tasty.  Love this.  My Wife ordered the Risotto ai Funghi and she said it was not her favorite.  My Daughter had the Fettuccini alla Ghiotta minus the Sausage and she ate it all.  Entire table loved the food and the service was fantastic.  We had the best table in the house which is a four top at the entrance window.  This is our "go to" restaurant in San Francisco and I cannot wait to return.  In fact wish I could go there tonight!
