Looking to try some great Mexican food in San Francisco. El Farolito came us a being named the Best Mexican Food in all of California by the local television station. We ventured into the somewhat edgy side of the Mission District to try out their food. Arrived early to find a huge mound of Carne Asada cooking in the window. This could be good I thought. I had to try their Crunchy Taco so I ordered one Beef Taco. My goodness this was terrible and they used a stale pre-made taco shell. Right then I knew this was not the best taco stand in all of California. The Taco had lettuce on it and that's it. It sucked. The Super Burrito with Carne Asada was huge. Felt like it weighed 5lbs. Taste was just ok. Nothing special. Huge disappointment when you come to a place that is know for a great Mission Style Burrito. My Daughter liked her Carne Asada Quesadilla. I would never return to El Farolito and they have a terrible Crunchy Taco.
