I have eaten at and blogged about Kahai Street Kitchen in Kalihi for many years now. Today they once again hit it out of the park with a Tuscan Chicken and Risotto that was amazing. First off the portion was huge. Two boxes of food. Salad and two scoops of Brown Rice in one container and perfectly cooked Tuscan Chicken with a Mushroom Risotto in the other. This high end restaurant style lunch was $8.95. Would have paid $30 for this in a restaurant on not complained. If you work or live in Kalihi, I highly recommend you email Kahai Street and get on their daily email list. Every morning around 7:00 am you will receive an email with the menu for the day. The menu changes every day so you never know what the chef's will be cooking up. When you see the Beef Wellington or Tuscan Chicken with Risotto on the menu - Order them! Really great gourmet meals for a really good price.
