When visiting Chicago, I always want to try some Deep Dish Pizza. My Wife isn't a fan but she agreed to try Giodarno's since it was right across the street from our hotel. We arrived early and beat the lunch hour crowd. Service was excellent but it does take awhile to get our Pizza because they make everything fresh to order. We started with the Italian Salad which was really good. Liked the dressing. Decided to try an appetizer so we went with something we don't get in Hawaii. The Italian Beef Arancino with Giardineira were pretty bland. Would not order these again. Our Pizza was ordered with Sausage and Pepperoni and there was not much of either in the Pie. Couldn't really taste the meats so we didn't care for the Pizza. Only ate one slice each. I prefer Gino's East or Lou Malnati's to Giodarno's and would not go back here again for Deep Dish Pizza.
