Driving from Chicago to Wisconsin and wanted to stop and try the World Famous Butterburgers at Solly's Grille. Arrived on a very cold day to find the place pretty empty with just a few people sitting at the counter. The staff was very friendly as they took our order.
I started off with a cup of their homemade Chili. It was just alright and nothing to rave about. My Wife had the Lobster Bisque and said it was pretty bland. Didn't care for it.
I just wanted a standard Cheese Butterburger with the works. My Wife went in for the huge Cheesehead Butterburger with two patties and the works. My Burger came to the table already cut in half. I opened it up to find a huge pat of butter on the top. One bite and you knew this was a Butterburger. Butter bomb of flavor and the butter was really good and fresh.
Other than that this was pretty much a standard burger. My Wife worked the Double Cheeseburger but couldn't finish it. I took a few bites and liked my single burger better.
