Dinner at The Wisconsin Room at The American Hotel went from really good to terrible real quick. We loved the Duck Fat Rolls, Hamachi with Caviar, Onion Soup and Wedge Salad. Then came the entrees. My Filet Mignon which was ordered Medium Rare was overcooked and tasteless. The Foie Gras was even worse. Firm and rubbery. So bad I had to cut it with a fork. After one bite I couldn't eat the thing. I showed it to our waitress and if I recall, she took it off the bill. The Steak and Foie Gras ruined this dinner for me.
