BRIGANTINE SEAFOOD AND OYSTER BAR - DEL MAR, CA

It is official, the Brigantine Del Mar is one of our favorite restaurants in the world.  We absolutely love this place and could eat here every day for a week.  On this trip to San Diego we ate her twice in four days and would have gone back again if we had more time.  My Wife would eat here for lunch and dinner if I let her.  Everything is good at the Brigantine including the service.  I always have the Classic Fish Taco with Avocado.  Hands down the best Fish Taco on the planet.  I crave these Tacos all the time.  We always start with Oysters and they are always fresh and delicious.  The Seared Ahi is good but not as good as what we get in Hawaii. The fish is treated to give it a bright red color and you can taste the difference from fresh Hawaiian Ahi.  My Wife loves the Brig House Salad and Brussels sprouts.  The Brussels sprouts are probably the best we have ever tasted and we literally order it every single time we eat here.  My Wife also loves the Swordfish with Avocado Butter.  She also gets this every single visit.  By good friend who joined us always gets the fresh Fish Taco wrapped in lettuce to stay low carb.  The Octopus is also one of his favorite dishes.  Don't skip dessert at the Brigantine.  The Mud Pie is one of the best ever.  Even better than Hawaii versions.  The Cinnamon Apple Crumble is not to be missed either.  Wow....with the ice cream this dessert is the bomb!  The Brigantine is amazing and we cannot wait to go back.
