HILTON NEW YORK - NEW YORK CITY

NEW YORK HILTON
NEW YORK CITY

We arrived in New York at around 2:00 am.   Our hotel room was not available so we checked into the New York Hilton.  The room was nice and comfortable.  Checking in was a breeze and the front desk clerk was very nice considering it was around 3:00 am.  We slept the night and awoke to a hotel filled with a thousand teenage cheerleaders for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.  They were everywhere.  Lines of them to get into the elevator and overflowing the entrance to elevators.  We called for the Bellman to get our luggage and 30 minutes later he still had not arrived.  I went downstairs and asked the Bell Captain if they had sent a guy to our room.  He said yes twice.  I went back up to the room and still no bellman.  We loaded up our bags and went down the elevator with the cheerleaders.  I walked to the Bell Captain and asked if they had sent anyone to our room.  He did not say a word as I stood there with all our bags.  The lobby here is huge and there is absolutely no place to sit.  The biggest empty wasted space in New York City.
