MAMA MARY'S THIN AND CRISPY PIZZA CRUSTS
DINNER AT HOME
Picked up a couple of Pizza Crusts for around $6 and created pizzas at home with my girls. Results are better than most take out or frozen pizzas. I like the fact that making pizza at home allows you to control the amount of ingredients that go on the pizza. I like a little more sauce and less cheese than most people. Also like to add JalapeƱos to my pie. We use Bertolli Tomato and Basil Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Oregano, JalapeƱos and Pepperoni. The results were great tasting pizza that I will make over and over again. Fast and very inexpensive meal that the entire family likes. I made a BBQ Chicken Pizza with my second Pizza Crust. Instead of using a Tomato Sauce, I used a great tasting BBQ Sauce and then added the Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheeses. Topped with cubed chicken breasts that I had leftover from dinner the night before. Added some red onion and cooked in oven. Topped with fresh Cilantro before serving. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was AWESOME! Tasted almost as good as California Pizza Kitchen. The key is to use a really good BBQ Sauce that you like. We used some leftover Tony Roma's Sauce that we got with a pack of their ribs. The sauce was perfect on this pizza.
