SABATINI'S
REGAL PRINCESS CRUISE
Most large cruise ships nowadays have premium restaurants where you can dine for a nominal cover charge per person. At $29.00 per person I would not call Sabatini's nominal but the food and service was so good we ended up eating here several times during our 11 day cruise. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant and very private giving you the feeling you are eating in a fine dining restaurant somewhere on land. It is definitely a far cry from the crowded buffet lines or even the main dining rooms aboard the Regal Princess. Service here was impeccable with the restaurant manager taking personal care of us every time we entered the restaurant. We also had pretty much the same wait staff here for breakfast which is served only to guests staying in suites. Our waitress Yulia from Romania was a true superstar who entertained us with her stories of leaving Romania to sail the great oceans of the world. Likewise was the manager Adrian who was the consummate professional while adding humor and charm to our every meal. The food was terrific and I probably ate far too many bowls of the Pasta with Tomato Sauce. The dish was so good that we requested the recipe. Adrian made sure it was delivered to our room the very next day. We pretty much tried everything on the menu here. One night when we ordered big we did not have a camera so several dishes are not shown but believe me we did enjoy them.
