HOAKALEI COUNTRY CLUB
Truly blessed to be part of an incredible team that puts on the Cooling Cancer Golf Tournament each year. The tournament raises money for the University of Hawaii Cancer Center and cancer research. After being sidelined by COVID for two years, the tournament was back in 2022 bigger and better than ever. Our eighth tournament was one for the ages. Probably the most work and toughest time ever getting this tournament off the ground, organized and staffed. My sincere thanks to Corey and Seiji from Aloha Freight. We could not have pulled off this event without their support both in time and financially. Big Mahalo to Colonel Toma and RNDC who provided a ton of beverages. Paradise Beverages came through with even more beverages and the beer carts. So many people to thank. Our food vendors, volunteers and beverage sponsors came through in a huge way to help make this tournament so memorable and special. Huge thanks to the University of Hawaii Band and Cheerleaders for starting the tournament with Hawaii spirit. Tournament Host Scott Simpson and Coach Julie from University of Hawaii Golf gave their time and helped us raise an additional $2000 by having the Hawaii Men's and Woman's golf team on course hitting balls for donations. Also cannot thank the team at Admor HVAC Products who without their hard work could not set up or tear down the massive amount of tents, tables, chairs and supplies. Huge thank you to the management and staff at Hoakalei Country Club for working with us to make the tournament one of the best if not THE BEST in Hawaii.
