Made a late decision to attend a convention in Orlando and didn't have a hotel room. I went online and saw that my favorite hotels were sold out our way too expensive. Reached out to one of my suppliers who was attending and asked if they had any extra rooms. The answer was yes so I was booked at the Universal Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites. arrived to find a huge line waiting to register and only two people working the counter. Took about an hour to get through the line. The gal behind the counter was very friendly, patient and calm which was nice given the mass of people in line. There was a hitch in my arrival date that took some time to correct and get me a room. She said she was going to upgrade me which I thought was nice. My room had two large beds plus another bedroom with another bed. Wasn't the Four Seasons, but heck it's only around $120 per night. Room was very clean and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints except for the sound of young kids running through the hall and screaming most nights. This is definitely a family hotel with kids everywhere. It is close to all of the Orlando attractions and they have shuttle service to and from the parks. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there is something like a college dining hall. Several places where you can purchase hot food like, Pizza, Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads and snacks. They even had beer and wine. You check out like a supermarket and then take your food to tables or back to your room. The only room service items are Pizza, Wings, Sodas, Beer and Wine. It was late when I got checked in so I called for a Pizza. It was at my door in about 30 minutes. Not the best Pizza but the wine was ok for like $26 a bottle.
