CALIFORNIA
There are three ways to get to my Dads house. One is fly into Los Angeles and drive 4.5 hours north. The other is to fly into San Francisco and drive 4.5 hours South along Highway 1. The other is to take a faster right down Highway 101 South. The best and most beautiful drive is Highway 1. This drive illustrates all that is good about California. Open space, beautiful hills and of course the ocean. This is one of the most beautiful drives in America. So beautiful and relaxing if you don't have some moron tailing you to drive faster. I was upgraded at no additional charge to a brand new BMW by Hertz. The car hugged the road and cruised easily at 80 miles an hour. This was "the" car to drive down the coast in. Really was a joy.
