Ended up at Shorefyre because my Wife wanted to go somewhere dog friendly. They have outdoor seating with artificial grass that was perfect for us and the dog. We waited 15 minutes before the waiter came to take our order. He was apologetic and ended up providing amazing customer service throughout our meal. A true superstar that I would hire in a second if we still had our restaurant. We started with the Duo of Ahi. The fish was fresh but we did not care for either of the sauces. The best of the two was drenched in a Teriyaki type sauce. The fish, onion and avocado were great but the sauce overpowered the flavor of the Ahi. The second one was basically mayonnaise covered Ahi. Not my fave by a long shot. I went for the Duke Burger which was $18. The burger was not bad but c'mon $18. I think you can get six In N' Out Burgers for that price. The burger patty was a bit dry. My Wife loved the Fries. The Fresh Catch was Ahi. It was simply seared and left with a perfect pink middle. There was no seasoning on the fish at all which we thought was odd. A little salt and pepper would have been nice. The fresh vegetables were really good. While our waiter saved the day, we probably would not return to Shorefyre.
