DINNER AT HOME
We went out to eat a few times for my Wife's Happy Birthday weekend. When it came to her actual Birthday meal she requested something light. I decided to do a small plate Tasting Menu with some of her favorite dishes. We started with Liver Pate on Cucumber topped with Creme Fraiche and Caviar. Next up was Ahi Sashimi with Avocado. Caprese Salad with Pesto and Balsamic followed. We took a break and then enjoyed Steamed Clams with Garlic, Butter and White Wine. To end the dinner I pan seared Foie Gras and served it on a Toasted Baquette with Garlic Butter and a swirl of Raspberry Jam. Ended with an incredible Chocolate Cheesecake with Oreo Crust. Wow....this was so fun and so good.
