We had no idea what Pan Roast was and did not know what to expect when we went to Hook'd Pan Roast for lunch. We arrived early so the place was empty which meant we got great service from the waitress. I asked her what Pan Roast was and she said it was kind of like a Spicy Gumbo or Bisque type dish that is popular in Las Vegas. My Wife looked at the menu and immediately said she wanted the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with French Fries. I was drawn to the Steamed Clams. We ordered both and then my Wife said she wanted to try the Lobster Sliders too and that we could take the leftovers to her Mom who lives right around the corner. Had to try the Pan Roast so we ordered the Seafood Combo with the spicy level of heat. Clams were delicious and served with lots of Portuguese Sausage and Lup Cheong. I cannot eat a lot of Lup Cheong and they gave us a bunch of large pieces that my Wife had to finish. The Grilled Cheese Sandwich was pretty basic but good. My Wife was not happy with the crunch of the Fries and wanted them more crispy. The Lobster Sliders were great. Served with Pickled Daikon and Carrots so its kind of like a Bahn Mi. Served on buttery grilled Taro Bread. I would go back for these. The Seafood Combo Pan Roast was delicious. Spicy was perfect for us. You got a little burn but could still taste the flavors of all seafood and delicious broth which was thick. This would taste good on anything and I immediately thought of putting it on Pasta. I like Hook'd Pan Roast and will definitely return for the Pan Roast.
