RUM FIRE AT THE SHERATON WAIKIKI

    RUM FIRE WAIKIKI

RUM FIRE
SHERATON WAIKIKI

I don't venture out much but when I do the Rum Fire Waikiki is one of my favorite spots. This awesome indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar is located directly in front of the ocean. It has a nice indoor bar area plus a lanai and outside patio area complete with fire pits and oversized seats. We have sat outside on both my visits. It can be a little hot before the sun goes down but the view and bikinis going by non stop make it the perfect place to sit. As the sun sets the fire pits are lit and the real fun begins. People of all ages go here. Locals and tourists, celebrities and movie stars have been seen here. I have seen famous people on both my visits. Also enjoyed a photo shoot with an amazing model. Rum Fire gets it right for Waikiki. There is good food, a great view and great people watching. As we were sitting in our pit area several people asked if they could join us. We went from three people to seven in our pit very quickly. Made some new friends and enjoyed every minute.
We ate some Edamame which is served with a spicy sauce. It was great. Also enjoyed the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos (shown above). They were good. Other menu items include; Crab Cakes, Ahi Poke Tacos, Baby Back Ribs, Sashimi, Lettuce Wraps and more. The food is presented well. I love this place for the atmosphere and great people watching. Can't wait to return.

  1. Could be a good place, but not one bottle of real Hawaiian rum in the place! You might find cheap Caribbean rum in Hawaiian-looking bottles, but nothing actually made in Hawaii. There is a goofy article in the menu about a defunct distillery from which they might get something someday, but not a drop to drink....

    Pitiful!
