REPETTI'S PIZZA AND PROVISIONS

I was excited to hear a New York Style Pizzeria has opened in Hawaii Kai. Repetti's bills itself as being from Italy, to Brooklyn, New Jersey and Maui. Now close to home and I just had to try a few things. The open air restaurant is small and basically a take out counter with a few tables outside. They may have been a little short staffed on the day we visited but everyone was working hard and there were many apologies for the delay in ordering. We actually were told to seat ourselves outside and a waiter would take our order. We sat and sat while others ordered at the counter before us. I got up and went in to order at the counter. The guy was very nice and I told him there wasn't a problem. Just wanted some water and maybe a Chianti. The food started to arrive with a small Caesar Salad served with the Pasta. Salad was good with a nice dressing. Next up came the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The sauce is very light with a mild flavor. Pasta was a bit overcooked and not Al dente. We liked the Meatballs. The Italian Sandwich was pretty basic with some really crunchy bread. The Repetti's Special Pizza with Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms and Onions looked really good. Loaded with toppings and pretty good. I liked the crust and flavor. My Wife was not a big fan as she wanted more flavor in the sauce. I would definitely eat this Pizza again!
