Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people of New Orleans who lost their homes, families and businesses. You cannot comprehend the devistation of the city. We took a half day tour that was remarkable. Thousands of homes destroyed. Entire neighborhoods left empty. Shopping centers, hotels, restaurants and every type of business you can imagine destroyed. Photos or news reports do not come close to capturing the loss. This is a historical disaster. It will take 10 or 20 years for most of the damage to be rebuilt. Thousands of people have left the city and their homes. Some of the city may never be rebuilt. The damage is everwhere. The city is still in ruins two years later.
