Loved the new Japan Village Walk at Shirokiya. The 32 food kiosks serving a variety of casual Japanese and ethnic fare plus six boutique restaurants, eight bistros and $1 Bud Light's make this a great place visit and eat. The place was packed during our evening visit and it was tough to find a seat. Being able to walk around with a beer in hand made the waiting for a table a bit more painless. You can find dishes here from a few bucks and up to $40 just depends what you are in the mood for. Everything from snacks to steaks, katsu, curries, stews, tempura, sashimi, hot pots, lobster, seafood and premium Wagyu beef. This is a beer hall too yet very family friendly. Amidst the cold pitchers of beer flowing endlessly around the Village there are families everywhere enjoying the food. We ran into several families and students that we know during our visit and it was kind of like being at the Iolani Fair. Japan Village Walk is located below Nordstroms. We took the elevator down at Nordstrom and then crossed the street into the Village.
