I love the bar and restaurant at The Plantation House Restaurant on the 18th Hole at Kapalua Plantation Golf Course. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Hawaii because of the relaxed atmosphere, views and great food. Whether you are enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner this place should not be missed on a visit to Kapalua. I have sat here for hours enjoying breakfast and hours after a round of golf. Just like the open air feel of the restaurant and bar. Really feel comfortable here and always cannot wait to return. On this visit there was a power outage in the morning so we could not have breakfast overlooking the 1st and 18th Holes. We jumped in the van and ate at the Bay Course and then played the Plantation Course. After the round we enjoyed Pupu's in the bar and then had this really good Frank Family Vineyards Tasting Menu in the Main Dining Room. Loved the Seared Ahi and it was the only time I ever thought the portion was too large. Could not finish all of it. Fettuccini was good but when the Rib Eye arrived I was surprised to see that it was Pork. Guess all I read on the menu was Rib Eye. Our Caesar Salads did not come to the table until after the Pork Rib Eye was served so this was strange. I could not eat the salad because I was full from the other courses. Don't remember the waiter apologizing for this mistake but he may have to one of my friends. The end of this meal was a blur as the multiple glasses of Frank Family Wines kicked in like the winds at Kapalua.
