To say we were disappointed by M by Jeremy Shigekane would be an understatement. At $130 per person this place is not cheap and you would expect more on flavor and service. Our waiter sweated profusely and did not properly set the utensils on the table. For example he forgot the knife for the beef course and brought it out for the dessert course. The highlight of the meal was the Old World wine pairing which was about $55 per person. The Wine sommelier. He explained each wine with care and they were all good. The food however missed the mark with some overpowering sauces like Pesto and a Olive Tempanade served with Lamb. We thought the food needed more seasoning and was pretty bland. The Mashed Potatoes needed salt and pepper. The Mashed Potatoes at Jollibee are better. The Lamb was good but we wanted more bites. The A5 Wagyu needed a bit more seasoning but was good. Again we wanted more than a few small bites. The dessert was not satisfying at all. Total disappointment for the money. We walked out and right across the street was Jack in the Box. We wanted to go eat there because we were still hungry and not satisfied. Really bummed to give this review because I wanted so badly to have a great dinner here.
