I loved Mugen Waikiki. Both the food and service were exceptional. The staff was incredible and passionate about providing the highest level of customer service. Our waitress was gracious and always making sure we were happy and topped off with water and wine. I went with the wine pairing and it was one of the best pairings of my life. The Sommelier was nice enough to make some changes to the pairing based on my preferences. For example, I do not like Port wines with dessert so he offered me a bold red wine in place of the Port. I loved it. He also allowed me to sample some unique wines that were not part of the tasting during our dinner. This is the only wine pairing where they actually gave me a little extra pour if I really liked the wine. Incredible level of service! My favorite food items were the Poke and Caviar, Grilled He'e, Golden Beets, Kona Kampachi, Lobster Risotto and a perfectly cooked Foie Gras. Wow......so good! Thanks Chef Colin Sato for taking time to chat with us and Doug the Sommelier who poured with passion and had some great stories about wine and life in the restaurant business in Hawaii. Really appreciate our server Mrs. Inouye who was amazing.

After our dinner we were treated to a tour of one of the three bedroom suites at Espacio. Truly is the Jewel of Waikiki and I can see why celebriteis like to stay here.
