SUSHI SAN
HONOLULU, HAWAII
Enjoyed some pretty good sushi and the company of Ms. Abbot from KHON Channel 2.
While the sushi was very inexpensive the lunch was high priced as I signed contract for another year of advertising on KHON. Sushi San is a conveyor belt Sushi Bar similar to Genki Sushi. The quality of sushi here is higher than most conveyor belt places and the service was excellent. The conveyor belt system is three levels. Two with sushi and one lower belt that has cups and tea packets. The Sushi is good quality and presented well. Price ranges from $1.50 per plate to $4.80. Brown Plates are $1.50, Purple Plates are $2.20, Yellow Plates are $2.80, Pink Plates are $3.20, Green Plates are $3.80 and Black Plates are $4.80. I was quite surprised when we got the bill. Sushi lunch for two was only $30 plus tip. Sushi San also serves Mini Donburi World Bowls for $5.80. They include nice portions of Unagi (Eel), Ahi Poke, Spicy Tuna and Combinations that are served both hot and cold. They also have some really nice Take Out Bentos for $8.50 to $25.00. I liked the sushi and employees here and will return next time I am near Kapiolani Boulevard and crave sushi.
