GELATO

Don't know the name of this place where we had a Gelato in the Piazza Campo de' Fiori. I can however tell you that this was not the real thing. After taking a food tour of Rome, we learned a few ways to learn real Gelato from the fakes. Real Gelato uses real fruit so the color is the same as the fruit. They also never pile the Gelato up so that it overspills the container. When you see the large piles of Gelato in a window chances are it is not the real deal.
