GARLIC SHRIMP

Garlic Shrimp and Rice is a family favorite dinner. If you live or visit Hawaii, I highly recommend you make the drive to the North Shore of Oahu and eat a Shrimp Plate at the Giovanni's Food Truck. This is a really good copy of their recipe and when you serve this up with the authentic Giovanni's Hot Sauce that you can buy at the market, you can enjoy the taste of the North Shore right in your own home. The recipe is inexpensive and very easy. My entire family loves this. If you love Garlic and Shrimp, I guarantee you will too. What makes this dish is the Spicy Giovanni's Hot Sauce. You can purchase this sauce at most supermrkets on Oahu or pick it up online.

THAW SHRIMP |
CHOP UP TONS OF GARLIC |
ADD ABOUT 4 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER TO HOT PAN |
ADD ALL OF THE GARLIC |
BUTTERFLY THE SHRIMP |
SHRIMP CLEAN AND SLICED DOWN THE BACK |
SAUTE GARLIC UNTIL COOKED AND ALMOST BROWN |
ADD IN THE SHRIMP |
STIR SHRIMP SO THAT ALL PIECES HAVE A NICE COATING OF GARLIC AND BUTTER |
POUR IN ABOUT 1/3 CUP OF WHITE WINE |
SQUEEZE IN ABOUT 1/4 OF A FRESH LEMON JUICE AND LET THE WINE COOK OFF STIRRING OFTEN |
REMOVE SHRIMP FROM PAN AND ADD WHITE RICE TO THE LEFTOVER GARLIC HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERVING WITH GIOVANNI'S HOT AND SPICY SAUCE |
