I cannot recall the last time I visited a Red Lobster but when my 85 year old Mom said that is where she wanted to eat, we went there. From the time we entered the Red Lobster in Lakewood, the staff was incredible with greetings and smiles. The Chef made an appearance at our table to check on how the food was, the waitress was great and the manager also asked us how our meal was. Probably one of the best trained staffs of any restaurant on this blog. Definitely in the top 5 which is something when you consider I have dined around the world. Who would think that a Red Lobster in Lakewood would have some of the best service anywhere? Well they do and the management and employees should be very proud for they really made us feel welcome. The food was great too. The New England Clam Chowder was just ok but the Alaskan King Crab served with a loaded Baked Potato and Corn on the Cob was awesome. The Crab was sweet and so delicious and the Baked Potato was one of best ever. My Mom always gets the single Lobster Tail and says it is her favorite meal on earth. She too got the Baked Potato and loved it. The Whole Main Lobster hit the spot with my Wife and my Daughter loved the Pasta with Lobster. This was a really good meal and again the service was top notch. I was never a fan of Red Lobster but I would highly recommend the Lakewood location for the great staff and food.
