SALLY'S APIZZA

My pilgrimige to New Haven to taste the Pizza began at Frank Pepe only because they open at 11am which is thirty minutes before Sally's. We rushed through two Pizzas at Frank Pepe and made our way down the street to Sally's before the crowds. We were immediately seated and then waited a bit for service. There was a signed photo of Frank Sinatra above us in our booth. Thought that was cool. We ordered the Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce Pie and was not disappointed. This was simple yet great Pizza. Nice crust and char on the bottom and edges. Light and tasty. LOVED IT! New Haven Pizza at its best.
