HAWAII VS WASHINGTON
GAME DAY 9/10/11
First off we lost the game. That hurt after the Warriors game back and made it a close finish. This game was on its way to a blowout after Washington went up 21-0 in the first quarter. The stadium was filled with 63,000 Husky fans hungry for a win. The fans were very polite. No trash talking. I liked the fact that the stands were filled with thousands and thousands of students. Nice to see the young people coming out to support their team. The stadium got rocking loud on a few occasions. Was easy to quiet the crowd when Hawaii scored. All in all this was a great experience. The tailgating was pretty good. We strolled the parking lot in search of a cold beer, but not one fan offered us guys in Hawaii shirts a cold one. The game started at 12:30 pm so I think tailgating was light.
