LONDON TO PARIS 

We made a last minute decision to take the train from London to Paris.  While this was an expensive train trip at around 300 British Pounds per person round trip, it proved to be well worth it as we enjoyed the ride and had a fantastic time in Paris.  The price for a Superior Standard seat was not much more that the Standard Seat so we upgraded.  This gave us wide comfortable seats, table, meals and unlimited drinks for the two hour and 16 minute trip from London to Paris.  Going through security, customs and everything else is better on the train.  Really beats the airport experience.  We boarded our train around 7:00 am in London and were in Downtown Paris near all the sights in just over two hours.  Amazing.  The trip was smooth and comfortable.  We enjoyed a nice breakfast on the way over and a light dinner with unlimited wine on our return.  We were so comfortable that the two hour ride seemed short.  Could not believe we were already in France.  Clearing customs in France was a breeze and security going in and out was good but very efficient.  Really like this train trip.  Only wish it were not so expensive.
