Made in back to Las Vegas and Javier's and ordered the same main dish as the last time I visited.  Must have liked it the first time.  After the five hour flight from Honolulu, I arrived at the Aria Resort and Casino and was pretty hungry.  After checking in and taking a shower I rolled down to the casino level where Javier's sits serving Mexican Food and drinks to hotel guests and locals.  The smiling hostess welcomed me and promptly sat me in a booth overlooking the bar and a widescreen t.v. playing the Baseball Playoffs.  Looked like St. Louis won.  Right after sitting down a bowl of warm chips and some salsa was placed on my table.  The salsa at Javier's is excellent.  A bit chunky with onion and tomato and some heat.  Thats right.  A salsa with heat.  Loved it.  Just enough heat to make you back off for a moment, but addicting where you cannot stop eating it.  Washed down the heat with a cold Bohemia Mexican Beer ($7).  After ordering my food, a bowl of Guacamole was placed on my table.  The server had a tray of Guacamole bowls so I thought this was complimentary because I did not order it.  When I checked out there was a $10 charge for the Guacamole.  I was a bit mad but since I did not question the dish when it came to my table I went ahead and said nothing and paid for it.  Guacamole was good but not $10 good.  The Chicken Enchilada and Shredded Beef Taco Combination ($19) was fantastic.  Seemed to taste way better than the last time I was here.  Loved everything on the plate.  Was full and content after this meal so I took a long walk around the casino and managed to loose some money.  I like Javier's and will always return when I am craving Mexican food while staying at the Aria.  Click link below for post on my previous visit to Javier's.
