Enjoyed a nice round of gold at Morgan Run in Rancho Santa Fe. Rancho Santa Fe is nestled in the hills next to Encinitas and close to Cardiff by the Sea where I lived for years. It is the home of golf great Phil Michelson and many of the movers and shakers in the business world. Life is not cheap in Rancho Santa Fe. Homes here sell from 2 to 20 million dollars. While the golf course is a bit short with a lot of Par 3 holes, it is beautiful and relaxing to play here. The Clubhouse has been remodeled with a great bar and incredible outdoor seating overlooking the course. We hit it on a Tuesday and they were cooking up fresh tacos on the patio for $2 each. Tacos were good.
