My wife described La Parolina as the "best meal of her life". I must say for me it was up there. Way up there with the absolute best. Perhaps we were a bit bias because we were lucky to have spent the afternoon attending a cooking class in the kitchen here with Chef Di Iside e Romano. Chef Di Iside is a warm and beautiful woman from Rome. After spending time as a Pastry Chef at the Fonteverde Tuscan Resort up the road we were told she met her husband at the Fonteverde and the rest was history. They opened La Parolina to rave reviews and acclaim and were awarded a Michelin Star. Thats the highest rating you can receive as a restaurant and we were blessed to have spent time with the Chef. Dinner here was simply amazing. We were offered menus in Italian and did not really know what to order. Instead we turned everything over to the Chef and just sat back and let the dishes flow.
