I am bit of a geek about seeing tech companies when visiting Silicon Valley. Even if we cannot get into the buildings, it is nice to see the campuses where so much of the world's technology is coming from. On this visit we visited the original and new Apple campuses. The new campus looks amazing even though the views are limited as the oval shaped building is surrounded by trees. The Visitor Center is beautiful and an architectural delight. During our visit to the original Apple campus we enjoyed going to the Apple Store where we had the most knowledgable salesperson ever at Apple. He knew every product in detail and shared so much information with us. Great shopping experience. The Google campus is massive and set in a rural area with lots of open space. Facebook was the most unimpressive. Pretty ugly campus. The highlight of Silicon Valley for me was being able to visit the Lucid Motors Headquarters. No pictures were allowed and I swore not to post any info on what is happening inside. I can tell you this though. The Lucid Dream Edition is amazing. Luxury electric vehicle that I hope is ready in 2022.
