The last stop on my personal North Beach Food Tour was Tony's Pizza Napoletana. We arrived before noon and there was already a good sized line of people waiting to get in. Once the clock hit 12, we were seated very quickly. We ended up ordering the same Pizza's as the first time we came here and the results were absolutely the same. The Napoletana Margherita Pizza had great flavor but is limp and wet in the middle. The Coal Fired New Yorker with Sausage and Pepperoni was the one that the entire family loved. This is my style of Pizza and the one that I would prefer every single day. The Pizza is light, crisp and filled with flavor. The Ricotta Cheese dollops take this Pizza to another level. Absolutely delicious. Tony's menu is huge and I vow to go back again and again to try different styles. Also would like to try the Pastas. You cannot go wrong here when you find the style of Pizza you like most.
